Chatonda Beach Lodge started its operations on 23 December 2018. Located about 92 km from Mzuzu City, it offers a perfect quiet, relaxing and pleasant get away whether for business or leisure while enjoying the cool breeze of Lake Malawi. The lodge is solely powered by solar energy for its operations. Solar energy is environmentally friendly as it does not produce green-house gases which is attributed to global warming and hence reduces dependents on non-renewable energy sources.

We are also constructing a fish pond where we will be keeping some of the rare fish species of lake Malawi to help avoid extinction. The pond will also be used by our guest for sport fishing.
